"Recycling is a key component of modern waste management and is the third component of the Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle waste hierarchy. Recycling involves processing used materials into new products in order toprevent the waste of potentially useful materials, reduce the consumption of fresh raw materials, reduce energy usage, reduce air(from incineration)and water(from land filling) pollution”
Sultanah Scrap W.L.L is one of the leading company in re-cycling of all kind of metals scrap in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Established in 2008 ,our company has full capability to re-cycle ferrous and non-ferrous scrap, obsolete machinery, electrical and telecommunications cable and other equipment. All our products are re-cycled, processed and exported to different parts of the world.
Not limited to the recycling of the scrap products we also have proven track record in demolition and dismantling projects for the Government of Bahrain and ASRY, hence forth making it a one Stop Solution for the Client and the Government to demolish , dismantle and manage the Scrap.
Scrap metal originates both in business and residential environments. Scrap is often taken to our scrap yard, where it is processed for later melting into new products at our buyer's facility. Our Scrapyard allow customers to browse their lot and purchase items before they are sent to the smelters by weight, often at prices substantially below the retail purchasing costs of similar pieces.
We use scrap metal shredders used to recycle items containing a variety of other materials in combination with steel. These items are labor-intensive to manually sort things like plastic, copper, aluminum, and brass. By shredding it into relatively small pieces, the steel can easily be separated out magnetically..
For us, the primary value of the scrap is what the smelter will give for it, rather than the value of whatever shape the metal may be in.
Heavy Melting Steel Scrap - Super HMS/Normal/Mix

All types of Aluminum scrap – tense, talk, 6063, taint/tabor, talon etc.
Ferrous metal Recycling helps reduce the amount of solid waste that goes to landfill, which becomes more expensive.
Scrap metal is also a by-product of steel production. These types of scrap - including scrap, bushels, and skeletons - are easy and valuable to put back into the same stream as they came from because they don't change and therefore don't require a lot of processing.
Materials such as beams, plumbing, electrical fixtures and cables transport parts and products such as automobiles, railroad scrap, rotors, drums and engine blocks containers and packaging are also Ferrous Scrap.
Since non-ferrous scrap metals do not lose their chemical properties during the recycling process, they can be recycled indefinitely. There is a long list of non-ferrous metals, but some of the most common base metals are aluminum, copper and zinc etc.
We do have scrap removal contracts with major key players like ALBA, BAPCO, ASRY, BATELCO, GARMCO, GULF AIR, BAC, Municipality Authority, EWA, etc.
Delivering our commitments and abiding by the regulations of the Government has always helped us to obtain various demolition, dismantling & Scrap removal projects through the Tender Board and Government Auctions. Hence extending our services to the Government of Bahrain as well in maintaining a healthy Environment.

Bahrain’s ASRY recycled the Wan Hai 165, a 1,088 teu container ship built in 1998, for the Elegant Exit Company (EEC)
ASRY, which is the region’s older repair yard, was established as a pan-Arab venture more than 50 years ago. It has recently been validated for responsible recycling under the IMO’s Hong Kong Convention and the European Union Ship Recycling Regulation. The shipyard has also obtained ISO 30000 certification for ship recycling from DNV.
Sultanah Scrap is proud to state that we have successfully completed the First Green Recycling Project for ASRY weighing to 5000 tons in total within a span of 6 months and the material being transported to the respected recyclers and end users.
Along side with Wan Hai – 165 being recycled at ASRY as Bahrain’s First Official Green Recycling Project , Sultanah purchased and recycled the General Cargo Vessel –Sea Lord having total tonnage of approximately 2000 tons was completed within a span on 6 months as well at the ASRY facility. Henceforth , 2 vessels were recycled and exported at ASRY facility by Sultanah Scrap.
